PROJECT DESIGNER

Even at an early age, I was taking drafting courses and construction classes in high school and Pellissippi State in preparation for my passion in architecture. Before and while taking classes at the University of Tennessee, I was in residential construction and would eventually become Construction Supervisor for local contractors and even helping with some of the design. After obtaining my Bachelor's Degree, I went on to work for TVS in Atlanta working in many of their design studios with projects in hospitality, mid-rise and high-rise towers, international projects and even high security clearance projects for the Centers for Disease Control Prevention (CDC). After the recession in 2009, I would start my own design office and work as a contract designer for an office in Traverse City, Michigan designing single and multi-family residences, law offices and even a small art museum. Moving back to Tennessee, I would go on to become an Adjunct Instructor and work in the theater and film industry. In 2012, I was hired by LGA to work on educational, healthcare, commercial and residential projects. Along with project management, I have helped with rebranding efforts and renderings/videos for projects.

Project Designer: Project management of multiple projects, daily CAD/BIM and design tasks ranging from

Schematic Design to Construction Administration, including Owner and Consultant correspondence and

Specifications. Tasks also include 3D modeling (Revit, SketchUp and Enscape), graphic design, and renderings.

Project types: State, educational, healthcare, commercial and residential.

LGA Design Committee: Critiques and charettes for new design projects, graphic design control and weekly

Project of the Week (POW!) research and distribution. LGA rebranding in 2015 which included a new logo,

website and company graphic design.

Completion of Revit training at the Hagerman and company.

Adjunct Instructor: Instructing classes in Architectural Drafting and Light Construction, Introduction to AutoCAD,

Rapid Visualization drawing class, Strategies for the Technical Professional. Weekly duties include curriculum

preparation, instruction and tutoring lessons to college students of all ages by using lecture and lab tools in a
